All information that has been shared in this thread is readily available on the internet because juice has chosen to publish it. The information is available because he uploaded the photos to a public part of imgbb.com and because he gave all those photos (including the x-rays of his daughter with her name and date of birth on it) to the press. He then subsequently published the links to the pictures in Sales Corner, which isn't changing the fact that the info was public before that. To copy the link from a closed part of the forum and paste it into a public part of the forum is completely irrelevant because the info was public long before. If he wanted to close access to the info, he can still do that with deleting the info at the place where he published it in the first place.

Ok spoken with my wife on this, she is a bank manager. Contact your bank’s fraud team & tell them you have been scammed.
They will complete an investigation which could have impact on the seller’s banking accounts, and they could be frozen.
Whilst you may still struggle for any refund and will have to explain all the circumstances, you may be able to still cause a significant issue to them, should you wish.

Not that I wish to defend anyone who might or might not deserve it but it seems to me that if funds really are in short supply then selling other assets might be a good way to raise the money to make a refund. Just a thought.

Having got to the magical 250 post point, he won’t bother with idle chit chat, he will be working away on those sales posts.
I would hope you would want to defend someone who deserved it. But, all evidence points to this guy being a complete chancer who talks out of his ass. I agree on RMSD though.
If I had an unused eBay account I'd be tempted to bid that item to a silly price and then go silent after winning the auction - just to jack him about
