Unfortunately we’re out of Juice. He hasn’t logged on since 19th September. Actions speak louder than words.

I kind of felt sorry for the seller at first but it’s not looking good now with the radio silence, I mean it’s the modern age with smart phones we are all on the internet at some point though out the day are we not? I run a small business and answer my email pretty much instantly throughout the week and even weekends so going on a forum is not a chore

Yes, well done you knew all along.

Though no point, if he'd said he'd sort it, saying 2 hours later he must pay up.

It’s been a week now since juice said he would pay back the £800 he owes me
Since then I’ve heard nothing from him despite texts what’s app (that’s he’s read ) and a few pm,s
I really thought he was a decent chap and believed him about paying me back. My mrs and son are fuming about it
    So am I.
I’ll give him a day or so to respond and hopefully do the right thing

The whole thing smells very funny to me…no activity for 8 years then a few posts in March followed by this s**t show. If I was juice id being in constant contact with Len and not disappeared for 6 days with no contact. Whilst £800 isn't a huge amount of money its a figure I'm sure most of us could muster up quite quickly.

Bit strange isn’t it? And we’re all assuming the bag actually exists…

Time for a villain thread. If he maintained radio silence for 8 years last time, this guy is over the hills and far away by now. I hope I’m wrong and the buyer gets his £800 back, but looking remote at present.

And if it does was it even genuine? I don't believe someone who has the readies to buy such a bag can't muster up £800. Even if the bag was bought on credit they must have the credit available to refund the buyer. Either way, definitely a wrong 'un.

I'm looking forward to Juice returning in a week or so and giving us a sob story. What do we think it'll be? I'm going for an illness, not his, something serious in the family.

Short of him living in Aberdeen and you in Newquay I'd be getting in my car for a Sunday drive if I was you. £800 is a lot of money and I'm sure as hell wouldn't be mulling over my options at this point.

  21. #221
Whatever happens, the seller is an obvious liar and neither that bag or the eight hundred quid is appearing. Who gives a toss if he's had tragedy or suchlike? His wife has probably battered him for using the wallpaper intended for the library remodel to wrap the empty box.

If the account was dormant for 8 years maybe it’s been hacked and the seller may not be Juice …

That would have been a long scam - he has been active for six months again, and completed at least one considerably higher-value transaction.

Notice you didn’t bother jumping on anyone else’s post suggesting he should pay Lenlec back. Be consistent or piss off.

I think that he's just ballsed up massively by taking the risk of not using an insured service. It's unfair to pass the stress involved onto a completely innocent party and I hope that he's just preoccupied with getting the funds together ASAP. TBH it should have been done immediately even if that meant going overdrawn but there may be partner interference going on if accounts are shared. There's no excuse for the radio silence.

If there is no progress fairly soon a recorded delivery letter needs to be sent with an absolute deadline for refund after which a claim will be submitted via the court system. It's been a week since this:

Perhaps the bodged up wallpaper parcel got wet.
Then indicating the designer name underneath the wallpaper.

No one in there right mind would use the box the bag came in, for anything other than the bag.

I hope this saga has a happy ending.

But when the seller suspects the postman and buyer to be in it together.
(That accusation was quickly deleted by the buyer)

I wouldn’t be holding too much hope.

I hope this works out for the OP.

Why not just phone a family member or friend for £800 and pay the OP. Resolve the rest at your leisure.

Could have been worse it could be a 10k Rolex at least one good thing could come out of it if the buyer does ever get his money back the seller will never sell anything else on here again

Has the buyer actually confirmed he has the sellers address? If from a return label did he even look before rejecting and if so, would it even be real?

    Morning all.
Over a week since Jon (juice ) said he will pay me the £800 he owes me
Since then zero. No money received. Not even a pm or text he’s got all my details so no excuses
I’ve tried numerous times to contact Jon.
Please Jon do the decent thing that you said you would and pay me the £800
You owe me. Villain post to come this week if this isn’t sorted

Villain post now. There can be no reasonable excuse.

Also, letter sent by RMSD to ask for/demand payment by a certain date. Once date passes start small claims proceedings.

You could get the police involved for what it's worth as there's clearly theft involved. If nothing else you might get a crime number for insurance or credit card claim.

Shame that these people exist on the forum.

I'm not seeing that is 'clear'.

I think the guy is simply embarrased, is struggling to make the refund right now - and finds non-response the better alternative to continued correspondence. I still expect that the refund will be made.

As to someone's idea that he posted an empty box which subsequently got sliced open ................

Maybe somebody else has, from earlier deals? Might be worth looking at H&V and contacting past trading counterparties.
