Try a few dealers’ sites too, unless you’re looking for RRP.

Completed Ebay auctions is a good base for what a watch (should) sell for, but people are free to ask whatever they want, but auction prices are set by the buyer

Brick and Mortar stores not so much as prices are set by the owner and each owner has they're oen idea of what a watch is worth.

Thanks, will use watch charts and the bay completed listings as well as on the for sale thread to get rough prices then decide, i didn't want to put a for sale post up and get shot down for being way off the mark

    New or used?

    New: sites like goldsmiths etc.
Used: Chrono24 is a good source. In their "sell" option, there's a field for them to do an automatic watch valuation

As already mentioned Watchcharts is a great source of info as they calculate figures on what has actually sold plus the prices of those that remain unsold.

It's quite tricky. I'm trying to establish a price for my grey-bought Pepsi as I haven't bonded with it. The variation across all platforms is huge. Not a stealth sales post, I'll put it up on sales corner when I can determine the right price. I sold a Mont Blanc bag on eBay recently and although the buyer was great, it's more difficult on that website now. I really don't fancy doing a Rolex on there.

Thanks for that. I've just looked at the BLRO price on there.
