A sad day that, despite its inevitability, still came as a shock. It marks the end of an era. I feel a genuine sadness at the passing of Her Majesty, as well as a sense that something has been lost that will not be regained.
A family is grieving the loss of someone special to them which we can probably all relate to, but she was so much more than that to so many people.
