Nah, not for me. I like the Sharp Edge series but the dial on the GMT is way too fussy with the power reserve and sub date feature.
Looks like a collaboration with a wallpaper manufacturer to me.
Initially I liked the look, but on further study I think they have over done the dial patterning. Certainly from a distance looks very cool :0)
I'm a big Seiko fan so this caught my eye. At first glance I like the concept and appearance of the dial, but the sharp lines on the lugs spoil it for me.
It all looks over-cooked to me, with the pattern dial, date sub dial, PR indicator, all the writing, plus with that thin bezel 43mm will wear huge.
Sometimes, less is more.
I’d rather have one of the CW Sea Ground GMTs for less money, I think.
I can’t see the appeal of a Seiko for £1300+
