    Trust your Ortho surgeon.
Thank you for all your posts and help Me Doc. It’s been very helpful.

We absolutely trust the ortho doc, yes. Was just amazed that the bones can heal up so fast!

    Think so too.

Glad to hear it went well, best regards to the little man!

Missed this first time round, good to hear your lad has healed up well.

Good help from The Doc, TZ at its best.

You come to North Cumbria, I treat you!

Just seen your thread, so sorry to hear about this. How's your son doing now? Glad he seems to be recovering really well.

Did you get a copy of the scans and his records etc?

To my (limited) knowledge young kids will heal fast and it's only ever a worry if they damage growth plates
My lad was two and was playing in the garden with his older brother. He climbed onto the top of one of those Tommy Tippie cars - red with yellow roof - fell and broke his arm badly.

I was cooking in the kitchen and felt incredibly guilty. He was in such pain they gave him morphine to calm him.

He healed incredibly quickly and has no I’ll effects. It’s much easier for a kid to heal up I believe from experience so I am sure he’ll be just fine with no on going symptoms

The little lad is doing well. Cast has been off for a few days and he’s hobbling about again, albeit with a bit of a limp.

Hopefully in a week or two he’ll be back to normal and it’s just be a story he’ll have to tell for the rest of time.

Thanks for the help and well wishes to all in this thread. It’s been very helpful.
