All,
Are there any recommendations for a watchmaker in the Cambridge area?
I have done a search, but not many results from 10 years ago.
Thanks,
Chris

I’m in Cambridge too and usually go to London… not aware of anyone reliable in town!

That was a big loss to the area. I work in Huntingdon and used to love perusing his spinning display of restored classics! I was only just getting into watches at the time so didn’t fully appreciate what he could offer at the time but he did a great job restoring my omega mk2. I’ve not found anyone similar since either unfortunately OP.
I had a aircraft clock repaired by him back in the day, that display case of his was great to browse, I’ve occasionally found a few decent watches and pocket watches in the Cambs Lock shop over the years. It’s a great place to browse for curios. ( I live in Alconbury)
Cheers..

"Well they would say that ... wouldn't they!"
John Medhurst jewellers in Mill Street are always advertising watch repair and servicing, by the usual ‘Rolex trained watchmaker’. Never used them though.
There’s a guy in stilton , no experience of his work .
