£1950 after the 30% buyers premium, if it sold on the opening bid.

That buyer's premium is really crazy...

i used to buy a lot from fellows but over the last few years their commission prices and estimates have gone awol , that said there are quite a few interesting watches in that auction.

Looks like it didn’t sell. Starting bid was too high to garnish interest IMO.

Some strong prices. Bid on a few and came away with one. Probably spent a touch more than I wanted but part of the fun I guess.

I was interested in seeing what the Dreadnought might go for as I have one myself. You're right though...the opening bid was too high, especially factoring in the +30%.

Same as you, I bid on three watches & got one. It was the one that I really wanted though...& I upped my bid by £450 at the end but didn't need it...so I came away with the watch for £450+30% less than I was prepared to pay. Still probably over the odds but it was one of those hen's teeth watches. First auction for me & it was quite a thrill!

Ah, by coincidence one I had in my watch list. Lovely watch. Congrats.

Had a few on the hit list. First choice was the Auricoste Spirotechnique but bowed out at £1500.00. Think that ended up at over £2500 with the buyers premium.

Second choice was the Beuchat Ushuaia. Had one and sold it here for peanuts back in 2015 and had been looking out for another since. Was trying to ignore this one but they seldom come up for sale and never in the U.K. Expected it to go for a bit more tbh and another bid would have taken me out but clearly not too many in for it. That said it’s over double what I sold mine for…….need to learn not to sell and re-buy.

I’ve been a sucker and paid for the express delivery too.

Just noted a few that were in my watch list have “realised £0.00”. The Aquastar Benthos, Technos, 2x Zodiac Supers all had bids on them. Strange.

Can you post pictures when you get it? How much did you end up paying for the watch?
Someone who lies about the little things will lie about the big things too.

Not dissimilarly, my old PRS-50-B, which is up on eBay with a $2000/£1700 (!) asking price, has not sold yet. Has 27 watchers though, myself included.

Do you think if I offer what I sold it for (£300 I think) the seller might be willing? ;-)
