    Mido watches

What are peoples views on Mido. I’m particularly interested in the Multifort Patrimony.

Where’s the best place to buy in the UK?

I asked the same question to Mido and this was their response:

Thank you for your contact and interest in Mido

I must confirm currently the UK is not a distributor of Mido products and we do not have any retailers or official online distributors. We are only able to offer and support with after-sales servicing here in the UK. Our Hour Passion stores can assist with past collections. I do apologise if they may not have been as helpful as they should have been but if this is of interest to you please find the contact details of both of the UK boutiques below:

    Bicester Hour Passion
    Unit 4B, Pingle Drive,
    Bicester Oxfordshire
    OX26 6WD
    01869 323479

    Gunwharf Quays
    Unit 20A, North Promenade Building
    Gunwharf Quays
    Portsmouth PO1 3TR

Thanks for the information. I emailed Hour Paasion and guess what, no response!

I have found that Watches of Mayfair stock them, never dealt with them so I have no idea what they are like.

I had a Mido Fort-something-or-other. It was small and beautifully made.

Hi Stevie.. Had three classic Midos over the years and realistically would put the alongside Hamlton or Oris in terms of quality. Others may disagree but that's Mt two pence worth. Having said that I have no experience with newer models.

I still have a WTB out there for a Mido Decompression Timer LE (black bezel) its actually for my daughter but not a sniff & its been out on the forum for a good while. I believe that Mido are sold (all be it maybe one or two AD's in the UK) but they did not offer their entire range for some reason. I have spoken to Hour Passion in Bicester Village https://www.hourpassion.com/en/brands/mido they appear to be a Mido distributer in the UK, but they were the ones who informed me that the watch I am after was never available in the UK.

I remember back in 2003 when I joined the forum, Eddie sold them.

They do come up for sale, but I think there is still a bit of hype: https://www.reddit.com/r/Watchexchan..._edition_mint/

Thanks for the heads up but I am after the black bezel LE version of that watch, the blue bezel was made after the black & I don't think the blue is a limited edition.
