My BMX Raleigh Burner,
Star Wars figures from the early 80's,
A fitness mag I had in the early 90's,
Kay's catalogue from mid 80's as well as a few jazz mags from late 80's to early 90's...
Inspired by the Raleigh Burner BMX bike on Sales Corner, we must all have fond memories of things we owned as kids - favourite toys, item of clothing, etc.
For me it was a Tony Alva skateboard from the 70s with full-track trucks and Kryptonic wheels. I’d love to buy one now and hang it on a wall but (a) she says no, and (b) they cost crazy money.
Swapped it for either a Hornby train set or CB radio.
Also had a Sergio Tacchini track top as an older teen that my mum ended up wearing for decades after it became too small for me. Loved that top.

Just wish I could be rebuilt!

Not childhood but my second car aged 18, a Sierra xr4i Cosworth replica in white. Very retro cool nowadays and worth a few quid too.
With a 2.8 V6 engine it was way too powerful and only lasted 3 months before I had my one and only accident in 32 years of driving. I cried my eyes out at the roadside and again when I had to sell it for £800 salvage
Some of my chilhood games...Test Match, Crossbows & Catapaults.
My Sergio Tacchini tennis gear.
And a couple of Body Shop fragrances I threw away.
Bit of a hoarder so have kept most things..even still have my VHS and tape collections!

Johnny Seven - One man army gun.
Nothing for me, but if I could get my wife her exact mk1 Raleigh Chopper back that would be magical.
All my toy cars, comics and annuals. Also my toy soldiers, basically all the stuff I immersed myself in when I was a kid.
I think I still have most of it!!
Although I'd love to still own my old collection of silver age DC's and early Marvels from the '60's.
I wish I’d kept my Space 1999 12” diecast freighter model.
My uncle gave me a beautiful Meccano set, and for a couple of years at birthdays etc something was added. - loved it.
Eileen from No. 25 !
I had all the original Star Wars figures and vehicles.
Got lost/nicked in a house move.
The first couple of hundred issues of 2000AD, mum and dad chucked them while I was at university.
Fireball XL5 toy. Fired up in the air with a catapult. When it reached the top of it's 'flight', a hatch popped open and Steve Zodiac jumped out and descended on his own parachute. Meanwhile, another larger parachute deployed from the Fireball XL5 itself, and both floated gently to the ground*.
Hours of fun, as most times SZ refused to jump out, leaving the whole thing to plummet to the ground *wince*. When it did work it was great.
Lost it on the roof of a posh house - SZ jumped out on his 'chute, but the main chute didn't deploy and the XL5 kept going. Sadly, was left trying to throw old Stevie up in the air far enough to get his chute to open.
* In theory
I still have all 52 issues of ‘The Crunch’ comic I bought weekly in 1979 / 80
Cheers..

Tonka toys with the yellow hard hat, all my Action men + tank (made local to me in Coalville, Leicestershire, Raleigh Chopper MK1 and anything that commands crazy money these days!
My youth.....it was wasted on me back then!
not much, most of it is still in my loft.
I am sorry that i wrecked a now very rare pack of top trumps though.
A Raleigh Chopper when I was about 14 and a VW Beatle when I was 16. The Beatle I couldn't even drive lol but I liked it and it was only £20.00 😔
My collection of Dinky Toy Cars. Mum bought me a different one every Tuesday on her visit to Doncaster Indoor Market, (there was a brilliant toy stall there back then). My favourite was a cream MG TC with red seats, my dream car ever since - though I'll never get to own one :-(
Best Regards - Peter
I'd hate to be with you when you're on your own.
Everything.
I have absolutely nothing from my childhood.
All masters of the universe toys! sell for a pretty penny nowadays
My first electric train set - 65 years ago : I still remember the excitement.
Oh trident-7 that is stunning
Not quite on topic, but: The Corinthian bagatelle from my grandma’s that I played with on the regular visits as a child…….
My sister swagged it when clearing the house after grandma died- for my nephew.
‘Ha! I’ll be collecting that next time I’m down!’
Still got the original box, balls and pusher.
My "Steer"n''go. Loved it. No idea where it went and find myself looking at them on ebay.

I had the James Bond Lotus Esprit. Fired missiles out of the back. Loved it. For some reason I really cannot fathom I gave it away to a lad at School. He wasn't even a best mate! My older brother had the DB5 but I think the Lotus was cooler.
