    Super incoming due (green content)

    Feels like Christmas!
Had a call to say a rose gold day date 40mm olive dial will be available for collection one day this week..
To say I’m over the moon will be an understatement. I have recently sold the last of my watches due to financial commitments with a view to buying something really nice when the time was right. I let go of 4 watches over the last 12 months which I’ve had for years…steel Daytona, Sd4k, hulk and a two tone Daytona. All watches i vowed never to sell. Anyhow, I’d been toying for a long time to go all in with a gold piece. Had cheekily asked my AD about a year ago if they could get me the olive dial day date. Been asking every few months since and have just got the call. Will now have to sell a kidney (max the credit card and worry about paying for it after)…Thursday or Friday I should be able to collect!
Pic for ref. only…il update at the end of the week with my own pics…

Yup. Boom! That's awesome! That's as close to a 'one and done' watch for me as there is. Enjoy it!

Having tried a friends rose gold day date with the “chocolate” dial, I already know they are a very special watch. The bracelet is a work of art…crikey I’m excited. (Not excited with the bill 🤪)

Congratulations! An end game watch if ever there was one. I've thought about selling the whole collection and just having one of these. Looks so special and the bracelet is amazing. Enjoy it :)

A proper YOLO moment! Well done.

It's a good shout for an 'end game' watch, but I'm not sure it's an 'only watch'.
Wearing it occasionally makes it feel so much more special. And I don't mean only wearing it for special occasions... I mean to the pub on a Sunday in a T-shirt, shorts and flip-flops.

Lovely, definitely a watch for today.

I think I’d be too terrified to wear something like that regularly.

    That's really very exciting.

I've recently been thinking about selling my watches and getting: One Watch To Rule Them All.

    Hmmm.

Looking forward to seeing some in-the-flesh shots of this special piece.

    Well done.

Congrats, superb watch. I don't wear coloured gold but if I ever did it would be that exact combo. Looking forward for the wrist pics.

    Cool

    Sensational watch, congratulations!

I have the White Gold and it’s one of my favourite watches, top 3 all day long. So nice that I’m also waiting on its Everose sister to arrive at some point soon I hope.

Look forward to seeing the pics this week.

Agreed though it’s not a one watch solution
The 40DD is the perfect size and wears great on the wrist

Congratulations on picking up what, to me is THE best Rolex model and combination EVER!

May I ask what your history was like at the AD in order to obtain this SUPER rare watch?

Wear it in the best of health.

Very tasty. Hope you’ll wear it with long sleeves lest some toe rag fancies it on the cheap…

Very nice, enjoy! [Can still see the smoke coming off the card machine ...]. I'm waiting on a root beer, but still a few decades away from all gold (an age thing).

Just take care when out and about central London or outside your golf club...

This thread has relighted my fire for a rose gold watch. 5164-R would be nice but the slightly cheaper (haha) Everose Sky-Dweller on Oysterflex with either chocolate or rhodium dial floats my boat also. Like the sporty look its gets with the Oysterflex - think its too much on full bracelet.

Hope OP is enjoying the honeymoon - an end watch for sure if such thing!

Don't discount the all Everose Gold Skydweller until you have tried it on. I have the Everose Skydweller on Oysterflex with Rhodium Dial and whilst it's lovely I find myself wishing I'd waited for the all Everose with the Chocolate dial.

No wrong choice here, both are fantastic watches.....as is the DD40 Everose of course!

Just wow! That really is stunning. Should ease the pain of selling some of your others somewhat
