    Is this Belstaff genuine?

Found this on Ebay, was hoping one of you guys could tell me if you think it's genuine or not: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/325227124236

Also, out of curiosity, which would you choose between that jacket and this: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/224920978034 assuming the Belstaff is genuine.

    Thanks for the help!

    Hi,

yes it’s genuine. They did some in the non waxed leather. But they never took off. The Vanson is a better quality jacket. But it’ll be heavier.

Maybe 2 totally different sizes though
IMO a small Belstaff is ideal for a primary school kid

Belstaff sizing is all over the place.

    I have a panther that is a small, roadmaster 48 (M)

And another light summer jacket (48) that is a big big to be honest.

I have a polos that are all size small and t shirts are all medium.

Belstaff sizing is all over the place - genuinely the best way to check is to ask for the pit 2 pit measurement (get a jacket you like and use that as a guide then ask the buyer for the same measurement)

I have belstaff pieces from 56 to 60 and they all fit me - similarly I have a couple of pieces exactly the same size yet they measure different p2p all depends on the style

I found the leathers wear duifferent my gangstert was a 60 and was huge yet my v racer is 60 and fits perfect as an example

I still have, and wear, my Belstaff trialsmaster that I bought new in 1978 from Bridge Garage on Verney St. Exeter. It has been reproofed once and is still waterproof as it ever was, they never were long distance waterproof, but then only oilskins were in those days.
