    Decent leather NATO

I’m on the hunt for something similar to this but in 20mm, does anyone have any recommendations that aren’t ridiculously priced please?

I've had a few from Yellow dog straps, they are really good quality but I'm not sure of they are still going.

I had a nice Christopher Ward leather NATO, nice soft and supple

Well it might be cheap and I haven't tried one, but for £10 surely worth a punt...

Another vote for Steveostraps. This is a single pass rather than a NATO but lovely soft leather.

    cheapestnatostraps.com have some leather NATOs.

I've had one and they live up to the cheapestnatostraps name.
Seemed like real leather opposed to PU, but had a distinctly cheap feel.

It's miles away from the £175 Bremont charge, think I paid £10.

Cheap way to make sure you actually like the look, I didnt as the leather is considerably thicker than Nylon and a 2 piece NATO adds too much thickness for my liking.

The first leather nato I bought was way too thick for comfort. I later bought a kangaroo nato that is very thin, very strong, very flexible - hence, very comfortable. It was a light natural color and while washing my hands it got wet and it permanently stained. I rubbed it down with Obenauf's leather oil which darkened it considerably and actually made it look better than the natural tone with which it came. It's very comfortable but I only wear it if I know I won't get it sweaty since I am afraid that may stain it further. I bought mine from Australia (of course!). $45 including shipping to the USA.

Yes I’ve also bought a strap from David - excellent strap and a lovely chap to boot.

I bought a Barton gingerbread brown leather nato, it’s extremely soft nubuck that I’ve worn for a few weeks now on my Speedy and has been developing a nice patina.
