In my spare time, I like to take underwater watches underwater.

Here's the latest one featuring a Panerai PAM00005.

Indeed, but more surprisingly, even, is who would actually take a watch with high WR underwater!

That said, I'd be a bit more impressed to see him SCUBA diving with it, rather than just duck diving!

I remember seeing a diver wearing a Panerai on a dive boat out of Weymouth once. I remarked that it was unusual to see someone wearing such a valuable watch for diving (personally I wouldn't as I'd worry about losing it!) and he just shrugged and said "It's what it's made for", which I had no quibble with.

I've worn my Omega Seamaster 300m whilst doing a bit of scuba in the Bahamas, down to about 25 mtrs and guess what, I functioned perfectly plus it looked all blingy & shiny in the crystal clear waters.....haven't worn any other high WR dive watches since though when diving, it was just a one off to get it wet

I have a trusty Citizen Promaster Aqualand that I bought in 1993 and it has served me well in the water with no issues. I have a decent collection of watches but this is the one I trust 100%

great shot of the seal ,i’ve done a little (basic open water 23m),diving myself but only managed to photograph seals on dry land . brilliant pic.

Yup, I gotta agree, that's a great shot of the seal.

I struggle to get a decent picture of the watch, but a watch and a seal together...

I've been there too. It's off Sliema, Malta. Near St Julian's Bay which is also a great place for a night out. 5 beers and 5 shots for 5 euros last time I was there!

I researched it all pretty thoroughly and spent some time at Ta'Qali. I'm pretty sure they don't have one there. There's been talk of getting the I dived up for years, but they have the Hurricane to finish first and a Swordfish that hasn't had anything done on it for years.

There's a lovely one (and spare engines) at the IWM Hendon, one at IWM Duxford and one in Scotland. Skysport in Bedford have one that has been not quite airworthy forever and isn't displayed as far as I am aware.

I use this: AKASO EK7000 - Had it for two years, and used it on all the videos on my UWU YouTube channel.

At £58...

...It's tough to beat.

As for taking photographs underwater, it'll do that too.

But I can't speak for the quality as I don't use it for that.

I posted one in the sunshine thread just now that is underwater as well. I just used a Joto waterproof phone case. Seemed like everyone was using that sort of thing. It goes down to 7ft. The only issue I found was it was hard to use the screen button underwater but it was fine out of. So I had to use the hard phone buttons. But it worked pretty well. Even did videos on water slides that came out well.

I use a tough Panasonic FT4 digital cashiers that I picked up on eBay a few months ago specifically for our summer holiday.

I works really well underwater, good quality, has a load of features as well and is small enough to carry with you all the time for biking, running,etc.

It’s a few years old now but it got a lot of good reviews when it was new. Can’t beat it for the price, I looked at modern equivalent but they were out of my price range.
