This is not a review and I know that we all saw our fair share of Rolex Sub shots. One of the, if the most popular sport watches out there has been a fan favorite for many years. It's tough, bulletproof, water resistant to chest-crushing depths, and (unfortunately) today one of the most popular members of board room meetings.
I've been always a fan of the Sub, actually, it was the first watch I ever started to look deeper into when I got into watches, but for some reason, I never pulled the trigger. To my eyes, it was, and still is, so perfect as an everyday watch that it's boring. 5 series was cool but I dreamed of having 4 series, 6 series first gen was too chubby but this one...man they did this one just right.
That one millimeter extra in endlink width and one millimeter less in lugs thickness made a huge difference in my eyes, and the case sits so comfortably on the wrist.
cal 3235 is super sensitive as the second hand reacts on a single turn of a crown. But they still haven't figured out the slipping on the crown from position 0 to time setting (same as last gen date/gmt movements)
Anyway, got some time with this watch and you know me, I had to pull my camera out. So here are some eye candy shots, hope you like them
Cheers team!

Great photos and yes "they did this one just right".
Started out with nothing. Still have most of it left.
Superb photos of one of the most versatile and iconic watches. It’s my go-to watch.

Superb pics Nono :-)
Lovely pics and I couldn't agree more about the ND. The 12.... series is an incremental but significant improvement on the 11.... series (and thanks Pete for being able to see them both side by side).
The date version, in my eyes, is what a Rolex should look like, but the ND has a complementary, clean look, love them both in their own way to be honest.
Fab photos and I agree with your love for the 124060. I love mine in almost every respect and the only thing I think would improve it would be to reduce the 4 lines of script on the face to 2 lines.
Stunning and creative photos, I always enjoy and appreciate your skills.
Steve
Beautiful pics!
Always up for a bit of 'Eye Candy'.
Many thanks for sharing =)
You are right in all respects. Mine is on pool duty today.
I love this shot. All are excellent

Glorious photos as ever!
Excellent photography there. Watch is alright too :)
Excellent as usual. When I first got into watches I couldn't understand why anyone wouldn't want a date on their watch. Fast forward to today and I totally get the no date thing. I'm very tempted to go for a no date Sub (sorry sub) when my property purchase is well and truly out of the way.
That is beautiful Nono!
Hating your pictures as much as I love them on this one, hyping me up on a watch I cannot buy
The photography on this thread is superlative
