    Lovely little (old) Rolex

    I got to see a little Oyster Perpetual that a friend's father gifted to him recently.

    It's a 34mm that his father bought in Aden in 1958. Or more accurately, his mate was going to the shop so he asked him to pick him up a Rolex, "nothing too big". So much simpler in those days.

    It has been regularly serviced and now passed from father to son.

    Very nice, you cant beat an old Oyster, especially a white dial.

    What a great watch, although not a fan of the design the story makes it special.
