Three register model.
I’ve owned a number is TF watches over the years and just this morning looked at the PRS 40 chrono thread for the first time. I’d previously really liked the 3 hand quartz version but missed the boat on those.
Logged on around 2ish and was surprised that I didn’t seem to have an account so spent ages Inputting details. It was to my surprise and shock after all that that I seem to have purchased a 3 dial prs 40 chrono.
Don’t want to get too excited in case there’s a mistake.
Cheers
Neil

There is a short write-up on the chrono on W&W.

Received mine today (would have been yesterday except I had to reschedule the delivery because I was out all day). I opted for the three subdial design. This is the first bullhead I've had and I really like it. I wear my watches on my right wrist and so the bullhead design makes it very convenient for me operate the watch. Aesthetically I like the "Mad Max"-ish styling of the watch and the heavy metal furniture of the supplied Rhino strap seem to suits it well. Although access the crown is limited compared to a more conventional design, it doesn't matter since adjusting the time is very easy with the edge of your thumb.
All in all, I'm a happy watch collector with this watch. Thank you, Eddie!
Why aren't more watches, especially chronos, built as bullheads?
It has arrived. Great job Eddie. I am 99.9% happy but I am not going to say here what makes me 0.1% unhappy as I am writing a small review... also, I want to see if anyone else notices...
I'll try to take a pic later on. It is really downcast down here in The Smoke. Great day for a new watch.

My two subdial variant arrived today very happy with it I really like it especially the little dial detail not shown in the photos on the website. Thank you Eddie.
I hate that little detail. It spoils everything for me (more about that later). But it doesn't change my appreciation of the rest of the watch. I just wish it wasn't there.

Hey. Apologies if there is disappointment caused by the change to the two dial variant. That was an oversight on my part regarding the photos. The watch used in the photos was a prototype and I’d forgot about the change.

The is an L in a circle Luminova symbol at 6 on the 2 dial which wasn’t on the prototype in the photos.

I fully understand. It may seem unbelievable but this post was the first time I actually realised.
It’s definitely an oversight. The photos were taken and uploaded quite a while ago so maybe weren’t fresh enough in the mind for the difference to be apparent.
Apologies anyway.

My 3 register model has just been delivered.
I have put it on a Bond style woven single pass from The Strap Tailor.
Very pleased with this piece for the cost.

Love this watch, thanks Eddie and the guys at Timefactors. Apologies for the poor photos, also my wrist is only 6.5 inches, this watch would work better on a beefier wrist.

It’s on a clip on leather strap for now as looks daft on my wrist with the NATO as well.

It was a nice day so I strolled to the Highgate cemetery for some pics. I am speechless!

I prefer it with the L - looked rather odd completely blank there.
I have a 2 sub dial version PRS40 for sale at the TF’s RRP £235 if anyone is interested. I bought both so I could pick and I am keeping the 3 sub dial version. I don’t want to eBay it if I can help it.

My 3 subdial 40 made it safely to the USA yesterday morning. I liked the concept back in 2018, and I love the way it turned out!
Bravo!
Did these get the go ahead?

Very swish combo Ben.
Got a new watch, divers watch it is, had to drown the bastard to get it!
If only I can remember which button does what. Instinct says that the "top right" is the "start button".

I know this timepiece isn't available at the moment (will it be?), but I seem to be increasingly drawn to it again. I just got a Mission Timer too last week; maybe it's just time for me to get back into buying watches again!
I have a question for owners of this watch (and i ask it coming from the Lemania-like legibility of the Mission Timer), how readable are the registers on the chrono function of this watch in real world use?

Bit late, but just got mine today. Top left is start/stop - makes sense as if you rotate the crown to 3pm, the left button is above the crown, which is how a typical chronograph works.
Not sure if I’d prefer the time-only to give me more confidence in WR, but I love the case and fixed lug design. Always regret not getting a Stuckx “Rock” watch and the PRS-40 is a much more practical alternative to that.
Thanks a fine review. About time we had a video of the PRS-40 Chrono on YouTube!
If I may say, I cannot see how the chronograph hands can get out of synch if the battery runs out during operation... because they are not actually measuring anything. The heart-shaped return-cams are physically attached to the hands and will correctly return them to zero after a battery change. The easy to get handbook agrees with me.
