That is interesting - looks like a so-called true GMT movement.

It’s about time something like this was released, any idea on cost per unit?
Looks interesting.
If you do it, please make it a 120 click bezel, so that it can still be used as a minute timer as well as a GMT zone bezel (divisible by 60 and 24).
Don’t make it too big, don’t make it too thick, and provide micro- adjustment on the clasp. Could be a winner, GMT watches don’t appeal to me but they clearly have their fans. At £400 this would be bargain.
Love the idea of a "true" GMT. I tend to agree to not make it too thick (sacrifice a bit of WR for a thinner case and better wearability for a GMT) and my only bit is to consider a 20mm lug instead of 18mm (although definitely not a dealbreaker). Eddie, definitely will be following this. I was very excited when they released the 9075 movement and hope to see it more regularly.
What about an automatic version of the Speedbird quartz GMT?
Interesting. Maybe up the case to 39-40mm? Agree with the 20mm lug and thin case comments. If it sacrifices 10 ATM WR, so be it.

Whatever it is going to be make sure it is going to be as thin as possible. Thickness is the scourge of today.
Any chance you could keep it under 12mm thick?
Might be doable by reducing WR to 10bar. Who needs more than that for a traveler watch anyway...
How about a GMT Commander instead, or a proper GMT Expedition Traveller? I do agree that the stock of the Dreadnought Voyager seemed to be in store for a long time (and so did the Speedbird GMT from memory). In fact, both seem to be still in stock......
Personally, I much prefer the GMT scale to be on the dial or chapeter ring, and the bezel to be 0-60, but that's just my preference.
Could be interesting in the Caribbean with a 24h bezel ?

Or perhaps this?

That's much better (I think) than a Baby DN version.
And please keep it no-date, the dial looks just so beautifully clean and symmetrical like that.
I like both hands red, I like the roundel effect on the central pinion.
Are you thinking of both versions, or just one (steel or black bezel)?
The movement is thicker than the 9015 and even by reducing the water resistance to 200 metres, my manufacturer says it will be 13.1mm thick.

Go as low as you can. It's a traveller not an explorer. In my day proper diver's were 150m.
Those Travellers are rather nice looking, like those.

Looks good but it's too much like the Steinhart/Gnomon/Olko offerings in my opinion....the 1655, maybe switch the design up a little with a bi-directional SS bezel and possibly no crown guards and if a date is required, then place it at the 6 o'clock position to help with the dial symmetry or something along those lines.
Miyota has to approve anyone wanting to use this movement, it's not freely available. I've already been approved.

Given it's a crude photoshop of an actual 1655, that's not wildly surprising... ;-) Thing is, if Eddie was to do something like this, we all know it would beat other versions hands-down...
I was deliberately conservative knowing tastes here, just losing the cyclops and date - an arguable choice for a GMT, but it certainly looks better IMO. Date-at-6 is a sound idea, mind.
Were I designing for my own tastes, I'd also shorten the lugs, replace the SS bezel with a ceramic one, lose the annoying counterbalance from the seconds-hand, and use a larger, easier-to-grip crown, as per the pic on the right:

Big "No" to a cream dial - far too many of those already
Huge "Yes" to a Polar dial ... I'd make it size 39mm minimum as well, and agree with previous posters on 20mm lugs, and thickness sub 12mm.
Do like the 1655 homage, but I'd like a Polar Explorer II homage even more, and especially if it was 39/40mm.
Can’t see reliability being a problem, I assume this will be a modified 9015 with an additional hour wheel and the means to set it independently, the movement will no doubt be a tad thicker too.

Here is ostensibly a picture of the Miyota 9075 GMT, as seen in a French Grande Nautic GMT watch by Besançon:

If I may just comment, a BIG 24 hour arrow.
I have a not so fond love for the one on my seamaster gmt 50th.
Cheers!
Ps: I'd go with the black bezel with tons of lume

Why do you need lume on bezel? It’s useless.
