    Tudor teaser (again)

Not going to get too embroiled in the hype but a reissue of this or perhaps a 38-39mm ranger or north flag reissue who knows

There's been talk of a white dialled BB Pro but I'm not sure how that would be linked to this specific story.

With the tenuous justiofications that *some* manufacturers create, not sure anything other than "snow is also white" would be required.

For the record my AD sent me this pic, but I can’t see the advert for it anywhere - it looked to me as if it’s an Instagram layout but I don’t see it. Maybe a pinch of salt is required until verified - if so I apologize.

My hopes of wishing a 38mm Tudor ranger into existence have now faded. Most likely an existing model in a different colour. I’m going to say an FXD in a polar dial. Just because.

That would fit with the “strap in” teaser…

So many new Tudors. Would be hard to resist if it is a white dial iteration of one of the new releases.

I am expecting a 3-6-9 dial Ranger 38-40mm to coincide with the anniversary of the Greenland Expedition.

The Insta story referred to in the piccy above features the white dialled Oyster Prince very heavily, on a leather strap. No 3-6-9 dial or Ranger there.
It would be a little wierd if they featured something so completely and then brought out a new model that is totally different.
Although I wouldn't put it past them.......

My guess would be BB32/36/41 fixed bezel with arctic white dial and black numerals/hands for high visibility like the Exp2

Look forward to seeing whatever they come out with though

I would be tempted by that particularly if a small rose.

I used to have a sunburst white dial Prince Oysterdate with gold arrowhead indices and it was a beautiful watch.

I did a couple of mock-ups a few years ago......one has come to fruition in the BB pro, the other was a Ranger........here's hoping they take this on board:-

The only thing I got wrong on the BB Pro was the crown.

Just had an email from the AD, looks like one could be mine if I want it. I have a full day on Thursday so will have to check the incoming thread after work to see some real life pics.

No, just that something is coming and they're sure I will love it but that's all they can say for now.

Chances are I won't love it but we'll see what happens.

Curious how he knows you’ll love it. My AD hasn’t a clue what it is yet.

I'm guessing it was just a copy/paste sent to everyone to whet the appetite and they don't know what it is either. Unless they've already got it in the safe under embargo?

Ye you’re probably right. I think the announcement on Thursday will be as much of a surprise to the ADs as it will be to customers

I would imagine that most WoS stores will get one in by Friday though, unless like the blue 58 they have it already and there is an embargo on it.

They will def have one on Friday. Internet not exactly ablaze about it so unless it’s sensational I don’t think it’ll be a huge release tbh. I’d say my own feelings are mild curiosity rather than desperate to know

I do have a feeling it might be a new numbered edition of the north flag with a gmt instead of power reserve function. I think I’d buy that

I was looking at Wimbledon pictures from yesterday to see if David Beckham was wearing the new release but was only a BB Pro

Suggestion here that its a new ranger, I would be very interested if this turns out to be true.

    That would be exciting.

A smaller Ranger? Not so much.

Every Tudor I buy doesn’t last long, the BB58 variants are the sweet spot I think and I am still enjoying my 925.

I have another GMT on the way let’s see how long that lasts. I could be tempted by a 36mm ranger that getting banded about.

It’s true to the original - I like the hands. An alternative to the explorer now that it’s no longer avail in 39mm

Why not go with a recreation of the original watch?

It's splendid watch in its own right and it's odd to knock up stuff that looks nothing like it

Looks ok in those pics. A bit boring but I guess it’s safe. I’ll wait to hear the details but having a wild guess at how it’ll be priced (probably around £2.5k), I think I’d rather a Longines spirit

Looks like £2420 bracelet, £2170 nato from the rumours. Calibre 5402 movement same as the BB58.
