Are you missing it yet Menno did you just grow tired of it, or is there something else to replace it.
Life without my TR6 would be unthinkable at this stage of my life.
I've sold my TR3A after 19 yr of ownership. I drove it to one of Europe's biggest classic car dealers and he was willing to sell it for me. He knows the history of the car and he knows who has restored it. The complete history came with the car
And it's gone in 8 days. The car will be transported outside Europe.
All what's left now are the pics!

I have a 1973 Saab 95 V4 in de barn. Beautifully restored (not by me). And I suppose that I'll be buying something else. But I have no idea what. BMW 02 is the first thing that springs to mind. But there are a lot of 'quirky' cars that I like! The BMW700 I posted last week is something I like as well.
Nice car.
BMW 02 is a fav in regards to looks. 700 I have never seen and a bit of an odd duck

When I first saw the thread title I was thinking of one of these: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TR-3A_Black_Manta
Anyway, well done on the sale. I'm not a collector of vintage cars but I reckon I'd find it difficult to let a lovely car like that go after such a long time.
Purely as a matter of interest, may I ask: Do you know where it went?
I need to go into some details here. The car is bought by a guy from Germany who -apparently- has a home in Dubai as well. The car was rolled onto a trailer (German plates) a few days ago and they took off to the East. So I presume it will be send to D. without getting German plates. But perhaps he will drive the car in Germany for a while.
