PSA - Facom watchmakers screwdrivers 40% off

"onlyqualitytools.com" closing-down sale, serious reductions - Facom are better quality IME than Bergeon, by some margin:

Speaking as one who’s ‘skilled in the art’ , I really don’t see the point in buying expensive screwdrivers, most of you would be better advised to improve your skill level rather than seek the warm feeling of expensive tools.

I work with a set of French- made screwdrivers purchased 12 years ago from Gleaves for around £30. I use replacement blades from Cousins, when I chip them I usually bin them but sometimes I’ll re-dress them using a diamond file plate. Trust me, it makes more sense. If a specific size is needed for a bracelet screw simply select the blade with the correct width and if its a sloppy fit in the slot dress it with the file plate till its thick enough to fit snuggly. Decent magnifiers and lighting help!

Thanks again to the Earl. Got these in the post today.

A spare for the bergeons and another in case I ever buy a Sinn or Blancpain.

    Great looking set of tools.
