I really need to wear mine much more.

Now that is a decent Certina diver!

Same time I'm surprised Seiko mid range divers weren't mentioned, or I just missed.
I guess they are within budget if bought second hand.

What’s an Aquitaine? I was referring to the CW in the link. Which I thought was being mooted as an alternative to the Certina? - I still think the handset and the logo are an acquired taste, which I wouldn’t ever acquire

Let’s stick to the point. I merely stated that the new CW Trident diver is not vintage nor vintage inspired. It is a modern diver.

CW do a vintage diver and it is called an Aquitaine.

Whether you like it or not is of no interest to me.

Would add my voice to those suggesting Squale. Great quality at the price point, and a company which knows nothing but dive watches (and let’s be honest, if Blancpain came to them for the cases of the original FF they probably know what they’re doing). I have the 30 Atmos Tono Argento which was s all the vintage feel anyone could want but rooted in something real.

Weirdly touchy, didn’t mean to offend anyone?!? - edit - just saw your post where you laud this model - each to their own, it’s only watches though??!!
