Any members got an Omega Deville Orbis?

Hi have any members got one of these? I'm toying with one as I really like the dial.

Any opinion on it, how it wears, things to note etc?

Yep. I absolutely love it. (Edit: I am talking about the wrong watch though. Sorry.)

The Crystal case sides give you a rather nice view of the movement from an angle you don’t usually see. Oddly, it works on a range of straps, looks good “dressed down” on a grey NATO, works well on the Omega Olympic Games “swim lane” NATO, brown croc or the black croc it comes on.

8500 movement isn’t anti magnetic etc but it has been super accurate in my ownership (both in the Orbis and in my PO).

And the dial is a thing of great beauty, IMO. The blue can look almost steely grey, through petrol blue to a lovely deep blue depending on the light and the angle. The faceted indices accentuate the art-deco styling and look almost as good as those on my GS Snowflake.

    As I say: I’m a fan…

(Edit: oops. Irrelevant reply, I thought you meant one of these: https://monochrome-watches.com/intro...lue-for-orbis/)

Ha, thank you - it is a very lovely thing and is definitely my go-to when something dressy is required.

I’m just sorry my response wasn’t actually of any practical use! ;-)
