Probably going to have to remove it as need that wall to be straight to put a bed against it.

That’s a great idea albeit tiny garden. Going to use the outside toilet block for water tank and boiler and meters. Saves space in the cottage.

Just a thought: it's easy enough to uninstall the pump (though personally I'd hate to!), but it's likely there's either a well or rainwater cistern under some coverstones beneath it - that may need infilling, and if it's a rainwater cistern, the rainwater feed to it may still be functional and require diverting elsewhere.

The thing that intrigues me about things like this is what are/were they connected to. E.g. Is it on top of a well, is the well still there, was it piping, where is the piping?
