I’ve been considering a 5817 for years. In fact, I have a short length strap from the Breguet Boutique that I bought in 2019 in anticipation. Finally got one this week and I’m super impressed. Bracelet fits so well (even without micro-adjustment) that I may never wear it on the rubber.

    New arrival and love it.

Sat in the garden working as too hot indoors.

Been wearing this as a daily all week as I prepare a bit of a sell off of most of my collection(this won't be one of those). Don't know why I don't wear this more often, pretty much perfect all rounder.

    Have a good weekend all.

Very much like this model with the oversized date.

What jubilee is it, if I may ask?

I have several similar Seiko watches and I'm always on the lookout for decent bracelets for them.

Thanks Mark. I got it from eBay years ago. It’s pretty decent actually.

One of my very favourite watches on the forum. I had one with the same shroud and an oyster bracelet a few years ago and really should have kept it :(

    .
Bought (then two years old) in a very agreeable deal with a most amiable member of this forum (sealed with coffee together in London) just over four years ago.
Not one second of buyer's remorse, and it is now ensconced as one of my favourite pieces.

I second that. It's one of my favourite watches on the forum and a delight every time it gets posted. Zelig has two of my most coveted watches - this and his lovely Oysterquartz. I'd pick up both without question.

I keep seeing this watch. So nice. Any opinions?

I am thinking to buy a JLC master control, but this might be a better option in PM and on strap
