    Under the Radar vintage brands

    Just a quick one.

I'm looking for bit of cheapish Summer vinatge fun, and having had a quick trawl of the evil bay, I'm wondering if there are any sort of "under the radar" brands I may be missing, I'm thinking particularly Swiss, but not necessarily, that might offer up something interesting, and still offer some value, quartz or mechanical.

you know the kind of thing possibly Enicar, Rado...i'm sure the list goes on.

Anyway what are the Brands you think might fly under the radar.

p.s this sounds like it may turn in a Want to Buy

    There are so many….
Thousands of them. Lots have been brought back to life in recent years.
It depends on budget and style
But I keep looking at O&W and Titus as I like a black dialled divers watch.
Lanco made some cool watches in bright colours used to have one but sold it.
    Original Doxa are lovely.

I always like mido, my first watch bought from overseas was a mido.

So many designs it would be impossible to nail one down, but I'm sure that there would be one which would get your buy now finger twitching.

Lots of vintage watches that are not from the big names have the same/very similar cases and generic AS, Landeron etc movements.

At the time many wholesalers/dealers just ordered from a catalogue and just had their name put on the dial.

Pick the combo you fancy (case shape, movement, dial style etc) and buy the one you like best without worrying about the name on the dial.

Unknown names (misc Swiss) always go for far cheaper than their more famous brethren.
    Cheers,
    Neil.
