I don't see any identity with Chelsea. What's their game plan? No real penetration. IMHO they should have gone for a top manager who can gel a side together with a clear identity. Hard to see who would be available - Chelsea would never get Pep, Klopp or Conte currently.

Wrong I know , but I saw the Daily Heil headline about Pep and Jurgen being bitter about Chelsea’s spending.
So I watched Peps pre match press conference where he absolutely didn’t complain about Chelsea’s spending.
I’m sure Klopps will be exactly the same .

CFC are a club in transition remember in March 22 the club was seized from RA the upheaval from that has been massive and the new ownership have got a massive job getting it back on track is Potter the right one? what was behind the Tuchel sacking?the current scatter gun recruitment policy? will we ever get a decent striker? for me this Season is a write of so it’s about the next one oh and top four is not an issue when you win the CL again

Way too soon to judge Potter and CFC. Half the squad are literally days into their CFC career, and the other half pre existed him joining the club.

No reason to doubt his ability to successfully implement his style of football at CFC.

Pep, Klopp, Arteta etc all needed time. I guess we are just used to Chelsea's having huge success despite churning managers.

(And the non stop media narrative to say something, literally anything, just feeds this short termism)

Boehly seems to have long term vision for the club, so I think the playing side will get back to the levels we have seen in the recent past.

Bigger challenge will be rebuilding the Stadium.

I agree it’s easy to revel in the current form Chelsea are displaying but with time I think they will be challenging again.

I don’t subscribe to the job is above Potter narrative, it is impossible to say with the time he has been in the job.

In terms of vision, the recent signings, for me at least demonstrate there is a plan in place and I fully expect Chelsea to be competing again next year.

Mudryk has incredible pace and once settled will be a problem for any defender, Enzo looks a real prospect too.

Makes no sense what you’re saying. Arteta wasnt a top manager and Arsenal have looked poor until this season.

You’ve just got to give managers time.

Everton started brightly, not allowed Arsenal their normal fast start.

Everton the better team in the 1st half. Could have had a goal or 2.

Well done Everton, very deserved. At least one Merseyside team will get points off Arsenal this season!

    Cheering on Spurs tomorrow!

Arsenal just did not look like title contenders today.

The managers substitutions, with his deeper squad with recent signings, made the team look weaker.

    That’s Arsenals title run over.

Brentford and City the next two games. City will be top of the league in 2 weeks.

Brentford and City are at the Emirates so that's 6 points. Spurs away won't be easy for City.

How are the dippers doing BTW? Managed to injure any more fans of late?

Wolves 3-0 not having a great season however if we both push on it could be a LFC- CFC Europa league final next year.

The way it’s going fingers crossed Liverpool will make the top half this season.

Liverpool fans not injured anyone in a while……..

    However………..

8 arsenal fans are up for murder charges after killing a couple of City fans !

Fantastic result for the boys today- JLo beginning to turn the ship around. However, we have been struggling to score all season, so for Liverpool to concede 3 against us shows how poorly they are playing at the moment🍺🍺

Villa got a thumping and enjoyed watching football again!!!

I think Liverpool are just waiting for the season to end and hopefully add a couple of players in the summer and be back at it next year.
You can laugh but they could still win the champions league and qualify for next year.

In a way I’m glad Arteta is getting results. Giving a manager time and backing to build a team and a style of play.

I hope Jurgen is supported the same way. We’re awful at the mo

If that’s his formation , which I doubt, he’s got Lewis at left back having never played there at any level whatsoever .
He’s left de Bruyne and Gundogan out for the first time in well over a season . His two best centre halves that aren’t injured are on the bench .
    He’s literally playing a back 3/5 and 5 forward thinking players .
    It’ll be entertaining.

What a day for Harry Kane. Scored the winner, breaks the record, has the whole stadium singing his name and meanwhile helps his true club stay top of the league

    City were ponderous in midfield.
Lewis struggled on the left against bigger, faster Spurs players.

Maybe Pep’s experiment would’ve worked against other teams?

    Anyhow… It didn’t today.

    Højbjerg played a blinder.

This makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.
Look, I know you’re back (again) but the world has moved on since Furgy.
We are better than you, on and off the pitch.
Look again at our sponsors , please . When you come out with this diatribe, you sound like a Liverpool fan . Two cheeks of the same backside and all that.

  48. #2398
City didn’t turn up. Looked very sluggish and didn’t threaten Lloris at all. Romero had Haaland in his pocket and made sure he knew it. Thought we played better in the 2nd half and should’ve scored a 2nd. Not sure how we didn’t get a pen from the handball. Ref was awful. Let City get away with anything but happy to book us for the same infringement moments later.

Privilege to be there when Harry made history. 267 goals for one club is an amazing achievement.
