That Spurs substitute doesn’t look happy coming on.
That Spurs substitute doesn’t look happy coming on.
Their defence lasted longer than ours against Bournemouth and Southampton... and Toon'll have 2 days extra rest as we play Chelsea on Tuesday before we play them...and likely to be in holiday mode after dropping from top spot.
Even if that wasn't the case Spurs fans that have travelled deserve better than this showing. They have Man Utd at home next, I think a few Levy out banners maybe snuck into that one.

Surely only Bruce will take the Spurs job now. I’ve said this before but Spurs without the lure of London are Everton.
The DVD 'Spurs at Newcastle - 21st to 45th minute - no goals conceded and an attacking break by Son' will be available from their club shop imminently.
Just got in - West Ham beating Bournemouth 3-0 at half time.
Cheers,
Neil.

For all the talk of Bellingham and Macallister , I’d love Caicedo at City next season .
A great footballer and a hell of an engine .
Gutted for Brighton
But good for Man U

So now potentially United may be only ones to stop the noisy neighbours from a historic treble.

The thought of playing them in a final raises the hackles . I still remember being told to F… off back to Manchester after the semi final in 2011. A horrible self entitled fan base.
But. I’d play them over Brighton any day of the week . If we are on our game we will make the Watford final seem closely contested.
I do .
I had £50 on them at 9-1 when I saw the team sheet and the Mancini rumors were doing the rounds.
I was torn today. The thought of playing them at Wembley is awful but I honestly think Brighton would give us a much bigger test. The only way we lose this game is because of fatigue and/or a helping hand from PGMOL. Besides Shaw, there’s not a single player I would choose in the same role anywhere on the pitch. And that’s only because Ake isn’t a conventional full back.
Just realised I'll be at The Etihad on Cup Final day so hopefully there'll be a party atmosphere after City win.
Unless I'm suffering a crisis of memory I distinctly recall City losing at Old Trafford this season. City are a good side but are hardly peak Messi Barcelona - they could lose to United.
Im sure some of the comments on here are just for bait??
Im a united fan and felt sorry for Brighton (who are a joy to watch) they carved us open easily throughout the game and dominated the midfield throughout but lacked end product I'd dare say had the young striker up front played it may of been a different story, likewise we set up like a team that had been stuffed last time out and being hard to break down and reliant on individual brilliance (been our go to game plan most of the season) but it wasnt there yesterday and we were fortunate to go through.
Im under no illusion if both teams show up city walk it and with the added incentive of the trebble I cant see past them but you just never know
