A West Ham goal would help calm the nerves. So for the third West Ham game in a row, come on you Irons.

I don’t think even Spurs, playing as poorly as they have for the majority of this season, can throw this game away Tony.

Leeds couldn’t win a single ticket raffle right now!

Leicester have their noses in front ..

Have to say I'm conflicted. Other half's family are all from Leicestershire and LCFC fans. On the other hand, I literally hate Gary Lineker.

Please no. I would rather Bournemouth beat us and we go down on points rather than just goal difference.

As it stand, Leeds could have an amazing turnaround, win the game and still finish 19th!

Just don’t see where an Everton goal is going to come from and we stand no chance of a penalty. The ref is clearly pissed off with all the diving.

Leicester will have their heads up now.

Come on Bournemouth. Nothing against Everton except that watching them play is like watching paint dry (Scouse Stoke) whereas Leicester do play attacking football.

One goal Bournemouth, just one goal to send them down, they’ve flirted too many times and I was really hoping today was the day.

    City don’t have a B team .
We have a squad of 50 and they are all £100 million players .

Have fun in the Championship Leicester going to be very little football banter, but I will remind you all of the sh1t that was dished out for years.

    Love Forest fan

You don’t need to be Citeh and win the league again to enjoy the moment, just be an Everton fan and enjoy the pitch invasion euphoria two years on the run.

    Probably beats being mid table.

Ooh…. You won the European cup when flares were a thing…. You just tried a bit harder in the last few matches and deserve your position in the end…. As for us???? I’m lost for words…

Blowing kisses from 30 miles south…

I’ll take my retirement from this thread….

Any Cov fans want to join me in a newly formed championship thread? oh i forget, football doesn’t exist outside the prem!!!!

Yep going to be fascinating where the likes of Maddison, Barnes, Ward-Prowse, Harrison etc end up.

This is where it really gets tough, Everton need to really change things around otherwise they will be struggling again next season the question is how with the players they have. Think its going to be bite the bullet time and just let a few players go and hope to find some hidden talent either at the top end of the championship or in the youth system to bring through.

Feel for you, tbh - not something I'd want to experience at all. Hopefully a bit of a rebuild and you'll be back up in a season or two (I'm sure the parachute payments will give you a leg up - just need to be spent wisely).

    I'll be there

I thought you were unlucky, Everton could easily have tripped up in another poor performance, even by prem standards the amount of diving and rolling around was bad. Demari Gray is stealing a living as a footballer and Mina would be better suited to MMA, if it wasn't the deciding game I'd have switched off after 5 minutes!

It's been a shambolic season For Leeds.

They won't give them a leg up as due to an unwise loan taken with Maquarie Bank the entirety of the parachute payments will be used to service the interest of £69.5m per annum.

Leicester are in trouble. The Mrs knows the owning family who realise the game is up now.

7 changes from the Brighton game, so yeah, definitely no B team. Not exactly fighting for a place in one of the finals, though. Flip flops on.

You should start an EFL thread. The Championship is a fantastic league and would be the top league in most countries around the world. I enjoyed our time there as it was a nice change at those times to be winning games. The EFL as a whole is a fantastic competition.

Leicester will be fine I’m sure.

Yes it’s going to have to be as above as the FP ain’t going to allow any spending other then what we get in from any sales.

Completely agree, a top league with some big clubs that doesn’t get enough coverage

Let’s hope there are plenty of sales, several players in that squad not good enough for the PL.

Problem is finding buyers, would you want to pay top money (or any money) for those players

I can see quite a bit of cut your loses and just let them walk
