Seems to me that some folk are too influenced by the opinions of others. If you buy what you like rather than flavour of the month less grief will ensue. Just my 2p worth……

Thanks for the tips - very useful! I will give it a go!

Have to say, I think the watch itself is excellent in person. It's so thin for a GS and the way they've structured the side of the case emphasises this further. I've got pretty small wrists and I love the way it fits.

Thanks again for the tips! Definitely a good idea to use a box - the screws are tiny and I would definitely have lost some otherwise! Fiddly job but all done now.

Looks good. I didn't start with a box but the second the first screw came out I went and got one!

I love that shade in the above pic. I would imagine there are times where it's quite a light blue which I wouldn't be sure about. Would like to see it in the flesh.

Still love mine, it gets worn more than any of my other watches.
I've not tried a strap and I don't think I ever will, I think the bracelet works great on this watch.

ETA Congratulations on getting one, enjoy!

Really enjoying mine although I can't always wear it with my usual scruffy attire! I love how thin the case is for a GS - it wears really nicely.

Definitely going to try it on a grey strap soon - think it would look great with the pale blue dial.

When mine arrived I thought the blue wasn't quite as "blue" as I'd hoped, looked a little washed out. So I sent it back, didn't even try it on.

    They are lovely though.

If anyone wants a new one Seiko UK might still have it.

Absolutely stunning watch. The blue is a perfect shade to my eyes and the weight of the watch is excellent as well. I can see the lack of micro adjustability with the bracelet being an issue for some but it's a minor issue for a great looking watch.
