Swiss watches Direct - any experience?

Thinking of treating myself to the Omega Seamaster Diver 300 in Grey. Seems the above retailer discounts about 15% saving around £600. Any disadvantages taking this route?

I have had two watches off them. The warranty card was missing for one. That was sorted very quickly. I was surprised that had slipped past them.

I later made an enquiry about a Breitling strap. They were so for off the mark, on the high side, that it was a joke.

Isn't this the company set up by a dealer outed on TZ a few years ago (possibly Bunty Hayes or similar)? Not an indictment of the company or quality of the product, but I'm just wondering if memory serves me correctly.

No issues with Swiss Watches Direct, very helpful when I made an enquiry in the past, often browse their website, but again I’d go with James for a price.

Swiss Watches Direct always used to be (possibly still is) the go-to company for members of the Armed Forces serving abroad to buy tax-free watches. I know plenty who have used them with no problems at all.

I bought a brand new Speedmaster from them in 2008. They were great then but they didn’t give you a manufacturer’s warranty (they supplied you with their own warranty card). I later bought another one in 2020 and they were just as good on the service front (this time Omega warranty included). Recommended without hesitation.
