    Frog watches

Missed out on a brand new pie-pan Omega Constellation back when they were new? Longing for some classic vintage style, except much, much bigger? Do you enjoy the comfort and reassurance of quartz power?

    Frog have you covered.

It looks like they've got some of the spirit there.

I know people want bigger than 34mm...but at 43mm I think that's going to look huge?!

You can buy the blue-dialled moonphase for £49 on eBay...

Look at the care and attention lavished on the dial printing and how the horizontal line is oh so close to meeting the 9oclock marker square on. Worth every penny of the asking price!

I think 49 quid is worth paying to have the phrase "Automatic Frog" on your wrist.

    ABOUT US

    1932 - A FRÖG IS BORN

In 1932 a small British watch company developed submersible watches for scuba divers known as “frogmen” and then for general military use. These watches allowed frogmen to descend to a depth of 50 meters and monitor the time remaining on their air supply. These watches became know as FRÖG watches.

    Lolwhut??

Is the small British watch company called Omega? But the Omega Marine didn't have a dive bezel with which to monitor the time remaining on their air supply.

Interesting to note that a small British watch company got there 15 years before Blancpain.

Maybe I'm being too picky, the text doesn't actually say they had a dive bezel. I, for one, am just grateful to this unnamed small British watch company for inventing FROEG watches, otherwise Chinese-made officially certified London Chronometer quartz-powered dress watches wouldn't be available to me today.

Funny how there is no mention of Frog, Froeg or Frög on the Mikrolisk website either.
    In the Sotadic Zone, apparently.
