Congratulations, that’s very nice indeed.

If you get to London the watches of Switerland store on regent street has an IWC counter. Above the counter is a very large model of the perpetual calendar mechanism. The staff there have also received training on how to explain it. Worth a look if you are passing.

I can't say I follow IWC models that much (despite having a Yacht Club) but 'their' red on the hands always looks more vibrant to me than when it's used by other brands - and I just love that detail.

1 question… what is with the red sub dials? I have never seen that. Mine are red gold to match the car.

These are cracking timepieces, have tried on them several times.
But the sad fact, is that they are too large for my 6 ¾ inch wrist.

Not true! I have the same size wrist and the 5022 is only 42mm with short lugs… it is possible!
