Question Anyone in USA able to do me a favour please?

    Hi All,
I need to order a tiny (4 inches x 2 inches x 1 inch) plastic car part. Unfortunately it has been discontinued and not available in the UK but Turner Motor Sports in Ohio have one left in stock.

International shipping + sales tax + brokerage and the fairly unhelpful attitude of the guy I was trying to deal with leaves me to plead if anyone in the US would be good enough to order it, have it delivered to them and then drop it in a small padded envelope and send it to me? Sounds convoluted but I'm desperate here!

    Any help greatly appreciated.

    Regards,

    Si

I have used this site in the past to buy products from US websites which are otherwise unavailable to me. Might be worth a look.

I guess its a fast BMW you have that needs the part?

They stock certain parts for my car that are hard to source here but like you I thought it would be too much trouble to ship from the states..

Actually it's an older Mini John Cooper Works that took a pheasant full frontal and cleared out my lower grill. There's a small plastic part that connects the brake vent ducts that is impossible to get but Turners have it NOS.

Appreciate the suggestion but a $10 part comes out at over $50 with all the charges.

Quite, their postage wasn't cheap (about $35 or so for mine). Better on larger orders where the US retail price saving incl. UK VAT helps offset the international postage. Good luck.

Am I the only one who read this as "took a peasant full frontal"?

    Sorry, I'll get my coat...
