between the Rolex deep sea 126660 and the 136660? Getting confused here.

As with everything Rolex, looks like it's a minor evolution. A bit of Googling suggests: larger diameter 44mm up from 43mm. Slimmer bezel.

If I'm looking at the correct models, depth rating has gone from "you're not going to need it" (1,200m) to "you're definitely not going to need it" (3,900m)

Marginally bigger date window too! 8 percent increase - small improvements. Can't beat the deepsea tho, it's a one watch collection for me. Nothing else comes close
You are comparing to the seadweller not the deep sea - https://assets.rolex.com/watches/sea...26600-0002.pdf.

Thanks for the replies. I am a bit wiser now, committed to a 126660 yesterday, very cool watch.
Lovely watch, looks absolutely beautiful in the bright summer sun. Enjoy!
