    Motorcycle license

    I need your help.
First I accept I could google a few gov websites and find the info but it’s not just as «*hands on*».
My daughter is 16, going through her GCSE and come July will be on holiday. We’re staying put until August so I was wondering if she could get herself a license.
I have an old CG 125 S for her. How should we proceed (with timing if possible, please)?

    At 16 she’s limited to only 50cc. (125cc at 17).

Understood, thank you. Until then I understand it’s moped only (<50cc) but she still needs a certificate doesn’t she?
(Sorry, I never went through this in the UK)

Hopefully save someone a lot of typing:

    From https://www.bikesure.co.uk/bikesureb...e-licence.html

Edit, in this context, CBT is Compulsory Basic Training, not Cognitive behavioural therapy.

    Motorcycle license

I think she can do her CBT as soon as her licence is valid as it’s done away from the public highway. I’d look to book that now

Edit - I believe you can usually book a hire scooter to do it on too

I am also glad it isn’t the BDSM version

Interesting visual. It puts into sharp contrast the requirements for 30mph e-unicycles in london and the 50mph scooters ridden through red lights wrong side of the road, etc.
