Tudor Chrono - Black or White???

Been done to death with the Rolex Daytona back in the day and general consensus was White by a smidge, then the Ceramic Daytona made the White the more popular by a greater margin so where is the Tudor Chrono,

Is it Panda or Reverse Panda???

    Black or White??

I think it's more of a personal thing, as I like the white as it pops a lot more. I think it would attract a lot more double-takes. So it probably depends on whether you want that or not!

Either way, I think both are great and good value for money seeing that you can actually buy one

Having seen both, I’d choose the black Tudor. It’s a big watch and it only felt bigger in white. Were we talking Daytonas - I would go the opposite way and get the white over the black.

I've considered this very question... i think I would choose white, simply because its different to other watches that i own... both look fantastic... and i wouldnt be disappointed with either.

Black, so I can clearly see the hands.

    This is my view too.

I also like the white date wheel on the black. Not exactly out of place as it matches the subdials.

Ditto - I have the reverse panda, much more legible than my white Daytona. IMHO Rolex/Tudor should blacken the hands on light dial tool watches as they have the Explorer II.

I prefer the black. The white might look better if it had black hour markers.

Black for me. Easier to read and a better year-round watch.

The white looks much better than the black - but it’s not all that legible in these pics compared to the black dial. Head (and eyesight!) says black, heart says white

The red text stands out more on the white dial and the hands stand out much more on the black dial. If the white had black edged hands it would win my vote but the black wins for instant time telling clarity.

Legibility! Using a watch to tell the time, whatever next. The silver/grey edges do give enough contrast to make it so just think the pictures don’t do it justice. The white dial also sits a grand more expensive on resale than the black which is very strong compared to other black/white comparisons

Honestly I feel black face works better on the model.

Although I prefer pandas at first glance I have always found reverse pandas easier to read.
In this case while I am tempted to say white, the silver hands seem to be easily lost in the white background.
I have a panda tudor and the hands were greyed out to make them easier to spot. I am disappointed tudor didn’t follow suit here

It’s an entirely personal choice, but I much prefer the black dial.

Tudor Chrono - Black or White???

White, still to see one in person and waiting lists with some retailers wanting purchase history

Only one out of the many local retailers was wanting purchase history. I was surprised how they were still expression of interest only and each retailer had a waiting list.

Chisholm hunter were quoting 3 years..lol

I think the reverse panda looks better, but because I have a few in that colourway then I’ll choose the panda Tudor.
Next week, though - who knows which I’d choose.

The white has more about it, the lume is a slightly different shade of white and dial has a subtle texture/finish.

I must have been very lucky, picked up my white dial after registering an interest 3 months ago- Been in and talked watches a few times but no purchase history history at all. I’m still undecided as I’m used to Panerai 44+ cases these days, i previously owned a Tudor Prince Chrono and sold that because of the size.

I did consider both but the white dial in the flesh is absolutely stunning.
