Rolex Sky Dweller 326933 SR661483 stolen from my home in Liverpool

My house was broken into while we slept early hours Sunday 15/05/2022

I had stupidly left my stupidly uninsured Skydweller on the kitchen island.

The watch is a bimetal Black face sky dweller & a year old.

They got away with watch, my motorbike and some other little bits.

    Motorbike was a Yamaha MT09 PL19AXN

    Any info would be great.

Sorry to hear this - what a 5hitty thing to happen. Hope everyone's OK.

    But why no insurance?

I understand you must feel angry, plus the intrusion into your home is difficult to get over.

No cover at all? Some home policies give a reasonable limit for theft in the home without specifying an item.

I had a similar experience a couple of years ago and an item of significant value was damaged in the break in. The insurers (NFU) were excellent in establishing a claim that was fair on this unspecified item.

May be worth talking to your insurers.

Home insurance has been set to auto renew annually for the last few years in April.

They couldn't take payment as I have a new bank card.

They don't email to chase up, They send a letter but either I haven't had it or haven't seen it.

Just been on the phone to them and they wont reinstate the policy.
