    Really interesting thread albeit not quite what it was thought. It added to the suspense reading from the first post.

    I love all the WW2 airfield stuff and try to visit the various abandoned airfield whenever we go anywhere. I am usually dragging my wife across fences and through brambles with her muttering about trespassing. You can’t beat walking in the footsteps of the brave folk who occupied the old ground crew buildings of 80yrs ago.
