I think it's a bit OTT with the strap, but I like the watch

I'd definitely choose titanium over steel, just not sure on the colourway (more limited choice of straps). [Wee jab at Rolex in the article, noted.] I'm fully expecting their F1 performance to improve now that Toto has the watch design done.

I do like that. And available online - no queue.

Me too - there is something about it which makes me think “yep that’s just the right amount of bright”

I think this is quite boring. I can only see any reference to F1 engraved into the caseback glass and a god awful strap.
    Whoopee doo.

But I'm colour blind so is that the reason I don't see anything to get excited about?

Well the man at Watchfinder likes it and he will pleased and comforted to hear generally positive comments on this forum.

I'm with the group who find it just the right amount of lume and along with Titanium case and being able to actually buy one makes it quite an attractive proposition.

Put me on the 'like' list too. Everything about it is to my liking.

It may be a little 'funky' for some on the blue strap however its wasted on a black strap. Its a lovely and lively watch I would just rock it on the blue. Look supercool in Ibiza sunshine.

That is a fun watch, I like it a lot. Quite an indulgence for a fun piece though.

Yep. That's the crazy state of the watch market these days. i.e. how we can convince ourselves that the unavailability of one brand can lead to considering spending nearly £7,000 on a watch because you quite like it and its available.

    A pilot's chronograph for a pilot?

When he's got an advanced glass-cockpit arrayed before him?

And a high-powered wrist-sized computer on his other wrist?

It's 2022 - all watches are nonsense. Attractive, enjoyable nonsense.

I like this one. But what a sh***y year to be conspicuously backing AMG F1!

Yes such a shame the watch will always be linked to what may be Mercedes AMG worst F1 season in many many years.

Well I take your point but......he's driving a car with a fancy dashboard, not flying an aircraft with a cockpit
Either way-I sort of like the watch but wouldn't buy it and generally dislike any association of watches with other commercial ventures.

    COMEX ? Lol

But I agree with you, it's a bit like getting out of a Ford CA wearing a "Ferrari" tee shirt.

I like the watch but would never be brave enough to wear it. If I was pit crew, and they gave me one, different story.
