    Salmon dial suggestions

Evening all I’ve been lusting after salmon dialled Patek’s lately but, as normal, caviar taste and a pizza face.

I really like the Breitling Datora, but at 42 it’s too large for me.

So are there any salmon dialled watches say 37-40mm at the sensible end of the financial spectrum I’m overlooking?

Often tempted but never yet bought a salmon dial, Seiko made one (can't recall the reference) but this has recently caught my eye.

Quite a few on eBay at around the £950 mark but ideally I would like the price to be a bit friendlier, just in case it's not for me.

I picked up one of these on Kickstarter...

Nice, but a bit too dainty for me so it was flipped pretty quickly.

That’s not salmon at all….it’s supposed to be weathered brushed metal. What about an old Airking?

Both Baltic salmon watches are really pleasingly designed and go for over retail. It’s mad they don’t make any more.

This is a bit more mid market but it catches my eye. I think I like it but it keeps me guessing

The Seiko 5 SNXA11 is a fairly rare and collectable inexpensive watch. Google image link below (I don't own it.)

Inexpensive as things go, but costs many times more than the original retail price.

I had a Dreyfuss & co Automatique with a salmon dial. Absolutely great watch, ETA base and only a couple of hundred quid.
