I’ve got a couple of pairs, they’re comfy, fit true to size, I wear them a lot, but they didn’t need breaking in.

These, for the avoidance of doubt.

yup, i have them - like them a lot. as said true to size and comfortable, no break in period.

had a pair of iron rangers which were much less forgiving and not great for all day wear - the chukkas are much better in that respect, as are my mock toe boots.

given the way prices are going i might get a spare pair of chukkas...

    Redwing chukka boots

Iron rangers have to be one of the most overrated boots about.

Red wing chukka’s are true to size ( Mocs and IRs are more roomy) and a great boot.

I own three pairs, no breaking in and true to size- lovely and comfortable, wouldn’t buy any other brand nowadays.

I am sure when I ordered these I read the shoes should wear comfortably tight. No idea what this meant in reality but I must have tried them on many times in the house.

My understanding, there should be wiggle room for your toes. Whilst, I had this, I was uncertain that I should be able to feel the sides of the shoe, which I did. However this is fine and find the shoes really comfortable.

Sad to say a wide foot with high instep meant these implements of torture had to be returned.
