    Got the call pepsi

I’ve picked up other pieces along the way but after 3 years I finally got the call, unfortunately I need another link so will have to wait for that before giving it any wrist time but I’m delighted to have this as always loved a Gmt and miss my 16710

The jubilee is a new strap for me so I’m looking forward to giving this some wear

Nice. Did you have to order any extra jubilee links? I find the jubilee bracelet comes smaller than oyster.

    Looks great, congrats.

    3 years is quite something!

Probably my favourite of the current steel watches.
It's just a matter of time...

Congratulations. It looks great. Jubilee works well.

Excuse my ignorance but is this the ‘fat’ lug case (I used to have the Rootbeer) or do the newer GMTs have slimmer lugs?

    anyway - we’ll done Sir!

Very smart, well worth the wait right?
I was quoted 10+ year waiting list on a Pepsi or the new black and green GMT by Mapin and Webb yesterday. I find it hard to believe I’d ever make the top of that list unfortunately for me.

I wonder if Shirlie will be getting the call anytime soon?

    Who remembers Pepsi and Shirlie?

Jubilee on the BLRO seems quite short. Mine needed no links removing when I normally remove a link on the Oyster bracelet. Not surprised you need a link. I would say anyone 7" and over would need extra links.

Are Rolex just catering for the dainty, Asian market now?

I had to remove the half link on my Oyster to fit my 8" wrist.

Hopefully won’t have to wait too long before it gets some wrist time until then it’s safely away in the winder

I think Rolex bracelets are suitable out of the box for a 7.5 inch - jubilee or Oyster. Those whose wrists size are greater and are not fond of strangulating their wrist, will need more links.

Without trying to complicate things, taking out the dive extension would leave my oyster short of a link.

Yep, hitched since 1988. Heck, 34 years and counting.

Nice one OP. You would think though that AD's would have links available in store, especially at this price point.

I've only ever had problem with jubilee. My wrist is 7.75"-8" and I need an extra link for the Pepsi. However, on all my Oyster bracelet professional watches, the standard out of the box length is perfect. I like to be able to slip my little finger under the clasp, so I don't wear it tight.
