Bloody lovely.
Review and video here. Hamilton are doing some amazing reissues of some classic watches

Lovely. I'd no idea Hamilton were a supplier to the RAF. I guess price will be £1800 or so which is punchy but not outrageous
Stunner! Could satisfy the breguet type xx urge for awhile

A link to the original 6bb. They’ve only increased the case diameter by about 1mm. Not bad at all.

£1800 puts the £5000 of the CWC reissue in to perspective. If you are after a new Fab Four alike it’s a no brainer.
That said the PRS5 or Newmark reissue are both cheaper still but not quite as faithful to the original watch.

always had a soft spot for Hamilton , looks like another great watch ….not sure i could justify at that price point. But in this crazy world of close to 20% real inflation who knows. A solid watch , definitely on my radar but used not new.
I usually dislike nibbled numbers but I can make an exception for that, bloody lovely!

If you want to see what the original looked like, here's mine from '72.
Mine from 1970.

These are really nice, they did a great job here. The faux lume is a bit much and not really close to how the originals have aged but it does look nice.
I have an original(well, with CWC on the dial) but if i didn't have that one already I'd highly likely to be buying one of these.
As mentioned it puts the recent CWC in its place. The CWC is of course better, well quite a bit better and with NOS original parts more interesting too, but at over double the price Hamilton win this round (hey at least CWC won the last round with the W10/Mellor).
I’m not sure I’d wear a cushion case but even if I would, the aged lume look kills it for me.
It looks like Hamilton have learned the lessons from the previous quartz and automatic reissues of the 1970s RAF chronograph and done it properly this time.
