    14060 Sub bracelet advice svp.

My sub non date is over 21 years old and on its original bracelet which is now showing signs of wear.

Notwithstanding it fits like a glove and is very comfortable.

Can anyone give me some advice please ?

Can the pins in the bracelet be renewed and in effect tighten it up ?

If so who would you recommend to do it ?

Replacement new bracelet, which to be fair would be a last resort.

Leave as is and live with it ?

All advice gratefully received , thanks in advance.

I bought a a new bracelet for my 2002 Explorer. Transformed the watch for the good. Was expensive but given I plan to keep it will see out another 20 years.

I’d be tempted to buy a new one and enjoy the watch.

Seth or Michael Young are said to be the people to go to on bracelets - lots of great results, and a couple of not so great for both…
It's just a matter of time...

I’ll add that I sold the old stretched bracelet on eBay for almost half the cost of the new one which made the upgrade a no brainier in my view.

New is defiantly the way to go. I think last time I purchased one from RSC they were around £8-900 including vat.

Plus as has been said you will get £4-450 I imagine for the old one.

I have looked in to this before for my FIL and came across the 2 parties mentioned, both were highly recommended. Don’t quote me, but I seem to recall the cost being £5-600..

Pricing a new bracket and clasp was around £900 & £300 + Vat from Rolex for a 2001 GMT. This would be my preferred route, along with selling the original band.

I used Seth The Watchdealer to repair one of my Submariner bracelets and although the work was of good standard it took best part of 4 months.

For my GMT bracelet I sent it to https://www.klokkeland.no/rolex-band-repair/ Based in Norway but again did a great job and took less than a month. It was a bit more expensive than Seth though.

New and sell the old one.
Or show us a pic of the stretch so we can tell you its fine ;)

I've had a couple on repinned bracelet and they're not *quite* the same imo.

I sent an old Rolex bracelet to Seth and it was nothing but hassle. Had to chase him about 30 times and when I got the bracelet back, I was a little disappointed with the results.

I’d bite the bullet and buy a new bracelet. Or use a NATO for a bit.
