I’m sure he has a few stashed in the safe that have been pre sold

Flew back from Dubai this morning, so thought I’d have quick swing by the Rolex area in duty free. They had 4 cases, with the sum total of ZERO watches!
Poor guys standing behind one, continually being asked “do you have any Rolex’s to sell?”. No was the obvious reply. “Do you have any Rolex’s to look at?”, a similar negative reply.
Not even your bog standard, smaller sized DJ’s, absolutely nothing to see!
I recall seeing a similar report for Schiphol a few weeks ago, so is this a trend that has started?

Do we really care?........I certainly don’t.
Forget Rolex, just forget they exist. Distance yourself from the brand and you'll feel a whole lot better!
It's a backlash from COVID slowing production with closures etc. They seem to have a hand in the UK with exhibition stock, but other markets do tend to sell everything they've got.
Nice, France a couple of days ago.

Pretty much what I have done!
I bought a Big Pilot 2 months ago, and have totally switched off from all the desperation for a piece of the crown.
It's great just going about your business with the only attention from those who know!
I still love my Rolex, but no longer like the stigma that goes with it.
Plenty of exhibition Rolex in the windows at Liverpool st station in london today when I walked past.
Like others have said, forget about the brand and you’ll be much happier! At one stage, I’ve owned pretty much most of the sports models so I consider myself a fan of the brand but I’m not willing to ever pay over RRP for a watch so whilst the supply chain is broken, I’ll just forget about the brand. If it never gets fixed, I won’t get another.
Plenty of other brands and interesting watches to spend money on!
They are employing four staff in order to tell their potential customers that they have no supply?
Interesting business model.
Someone who lies about the little things will lie about the big things too.
'Nolex'
There are so many other great brands out there, time to broaden the horizons
If you want to see some Rolex just sit in a metrobank and wait for middle aged man wearing size 6 trickers, 40 inch waist raw Japanese denim jeans and a belstaff jacket to go into the deposit box section. You’ll see 20.
If I didn’t know any better, I’d be convinced Rolex we’re just a manufacturer of display cases and stands!
