Sadly it now seems to be a growing trend to just rob high value watches off people wearing them.
Rolexes of all models are being targeted where we live in affluent and central areas. It seem that brand is certainly the preferred choice of such criminally inclined individuals.
Oh God! I have to cross North Manchester today. Better leave the Casio at home.

Awful business, wearing a nice watch is obviously the way to attract a mugger. My G Shock gets a lot of wrist time, I will think carefully what I wear on my wrist on holiday.
I believe any public figure that wears expensive watches will be a target for opportunistic or other thieves.
He is lucky he had the sense to hand it over without additional drama.
I read the title and thought he must have been stuck on a rail replacement bus service due to engineering works.
