(Drumroll…) I’m pleased to announce a real-life TZ GTG!
Date: Sunday 24th April, 12-4pm.
Location: close to Preston centre. Location to be sent via PM.
Woodacre1983 has arranged a private watering hole for us to meet up, look at a few watches, and have a few ales. And not a zoom in sight (sorry to TZers in Japan!)
As per the previous Manchester GTGs discretion is a must and I will send the details via PM, to be kept confidential. We reserve the right to decline invitation to anyone with a suspicious posting history. Or those who own watches with inappropriate date wheel positions!

I've been waiting for this for probably 2 years, however this falls after two huge footie weekends and a birthday on Friday 22nd. Absolutely gutted, I'll try my best though.

I live not too far away and could think of worse things to be doing than spend a Sunday afternoon having a few beers with a watch theme.Would probably be my perfect afternoon in all fairness!

Good call. I just chatted to him via text, and he flies back next Sunday so can’t make it. He promises to show off his new watch at the next GTG!

Sorry to be missing this but I suspected that disappearing off for the day while we are still living out of boxes wouldn't go down too well.

Thanks everyone for a great afternoon - I had forgotten what it was like to go out on a sunday.
Also big shout out to Kirk - eating 15 pickled eggs in one go was amazing!
That was a great little GTG, nice to meet some new faces. Many thanks to Woodacre1983 and the owner & manager for sorting the venue….and the pickled egg requirement!
