Tested my cyclo orbital polisher with Meguiars MG 205

This was on my GT86, tested it out on the door and have to say that I was really impressed. I've wanted a cyclo orbital polisher for ages, and have tried both orbital and DA polishers in the past but when I saw one of these in action I had to have one. I gave it a quick try out using an orange (cutting ) and blue (polishing ) pad in combination. It's an old, black car and the paintwork was full of swirls, scratches and holograms. The picture was taken after giving the door 4-5 passes using the 205, and then wiping off any residue with a microfibre cloth.

Can't wait to try it out on my A8 now.

Took me longer than I'd like to admit to figure out that's a blue office chair. Great job, the A8 is going to test your lower back.

I have used a DeWalt DA 240v unit for many years - it's heavy, but gives good results.
Apart from the two heads/mops, I am interested to know why you made the upgrade ?

Thinking aloud - unless you only move in one direction, for part of the time you are leading with a polish mop, then following with the cutting mop ?
