Although I live in Aus I still like to listen to UK radio via the Amazon devices. I've tried various skills but this one stands out, https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B09RKCN3CN, which uses the database at http://radiofeeds.co.uk/default.asp. It stands out for listing the national variations of national stations - listen to the Heart or whatever meant for your area. Also, it lists hi-qual (128kbps to 320kbps) streams, http://radiofeeds.co.uk/hifi.asp, and plays hi-qual stream over normal if one is available. Its USP (unique selling proposition) is the use of TLA's (three letter acronyms) to call the station. You can ask for the station by its full name and probably get the wrong station, or simply ask for it using its TLA. I find it easier to use the TLA in a routine. Any problems with a link, contact Vinnie http://radiofeeds.co.uk/form.html.

No plans for Android as he wants to stay app-less. He recommends a Chromium browser and using "add to home screen". You get access to http://www.radiofeeds.co.uk/chrome/. You can then search and play as though it was an app. I recommend Kiwi as you can add extensions. If you like listening to different radio stations I guess you might like reading different newspapers, https://gitlab.com/magnolia1234/bypa...s-chrome-clean.
